Spouse immigration

This visa allows the partners of New Zealand citizens and resident visa holders to apply for a resident visa in order to live in New Zealand with their partners.

To obtain a spouse resident visa, applicants must provide sufficient evidence to convince immigration officials that they have established a truly stable partnership with a New Zealand citizen or resident and have lived together for 12 months or more.
